Public security ministry releases wanted notice for 50 serious crime suspects - China.org.cn

China's Ministry of Public Security on Tuesday released a class-A arrest warrant for 50 fugitives suspected of serious crimes.

The crimes include intentional homicide, kidnapping, illegally manufacturing explosives, telecom fraud, illegally absorbing public deposits as well as leading and engaging in gangs and organized crimes.

The list is the second of its kind since the ministry released a wanted list of 50 such fugitives in July, among whom 28 have been detained.

Chinese police have arrested over 108,000 fugitives since the ministry launched a nationwide campaign to crack down on fraud and apprehend criminal suspects at large on June 13, a 40 percent increase year on year.

The ministry called on the public to report tips to the police and promised that those who offer useful information and help arrest the listed criminal suspects will be awarded 100,000 yuan (13,969 U.S. dollars) for each seized fugitive.
