Deputies to the People's Congress of Luohu District and the People's Congress of Shenzhen Municipality visited the district's Public Sports Promotion Center on Oct. 18 to advance public sports in Luohu.

The promotion center has organized more than 20 competitive sporting events for adolescent players since its founding in Sept. 2018, and is currently gearing up for Shenzhen's 10th sports games.

The center's director told deputies that more senior coaches and professional sports managers are badly needed, and that the training grounds are inadequate.

Tan Huiru, vice director of the Standing Committee of the People's Congress of Luohu District, vowed to locate and solve further problems hindering the center's development, while also urging deputies to put forward feasible suggestions.
