Global party leaders hail China's achievements under CPC leadership

Party leaders around the world have hailed the achievements China has made under the leadership of the Communist Party of China (CPC), in recent interviews with Xinhua.

On the sidelines of the 21st International Meeting of Communist and Workers' Parties held from Friday to Sunday in Izmir, Turkey, the political figures said they are willing to draw on China's experience and strengthen communication and cooperation with the CPC.

Bishnu Rijal, member of the Nepal Communist Party Central Committee, said the People's Republic China (PRC) faced enormous challenges when it was established 70 years ago, but it managed to overcome difficulties and achieve prosperity. China now draws the world's attention.

M.A. Baby, member of the Polit Bureau of the Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M), said that the China-proposed Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) will help interconnect all nations and civilizations, and will contribute to the comprehensive development of humanity.

Reem Hazzan, international secretary of the Communist Party of Israel, said China has gained honorable development under the leadership of the CPC during the past 70 years.

The founding of the PRC is a great event which changed the course of global history, said Gyula Thurmer, president of the Hungarian Workers' Party. He added that China's achievements are profound on theoretical and political levels, which reflects the advantages of socialism with Chinese characteristics.

Mauro Alboresi, secretary of the Italian Communist Party, said that the CPC has led China out of poverty to a great economy.

The BRI will promote global cooperation and peace, which is in line with China's commitment to preserving peace around the world, said Patrik Kobele, chairman of the German Communist Party.

Carmelo Versaci, secretary of international relations of the Communist Party of Argentina, said the development of China can be exemplary for Argentina, and he is looking forward to reinforcing ties with China.

The BRI calls for win-win cooperation among all parties, said Christ Matlhako, second deputy Secretary-General of the South African Communist Party, adding that the China-Africa cooperation will benefit people from both sides and has substantial potential.
