Enterprises urged to strive for victory on two fronts

Shenzhen HTI Group Co., a guarantee company, launched loan guarantees with favorable interest rate for small and medium-sized enterprises on Feb. 1 to help them weather financial difficulties imposed by the epidemic.

After the Luohu government introduced supportive policies for businesses, the company started offering loan guarantees customized for the catering industry in Luohu seriously affected by the epidemic.

The company pays special attention to protecting employee health. "We will never relax our vigilance in regard to epidemic control, while also trying our utmost to support Luohu enterprises' development," Liu Suhua, Party chief and president of the company, told the visiting officials.

It has provided guarantee services for more than 33,000 enterprises with over 600 billion yuan ($84.71 billion) in loans over the past 25 years.

Optima Integration Group Co., one of the largest supply-chain service platforms for cold chain logistics and sea food imports in the country, started expanding its imports and increasing supplies to the domestic market on Jan. 25 to stabilize food supplies.

"The company grows up in Luohu, and as long as Luohu needs us, we are obliged to extend a helping hand," said Su Jie, president of the company.

The company has delivered more than 50,000 metric tons of pork, poultry and beef to wholesalers in Hubei province, epicenter of the outbreak, over a one-month period.

It has organized training sessions on epidemic control for its employees, and strengthened supervision of epidemic control efforts in its workshops.

"Commerce, trade and consumption suffer most from the epidemic. You have all actively played up your advantages to actively help the enterprises to relieve their pressure and offer help to the society, and stimulate economic vitality," said Luo, in speaking highly of the important contribution to Luohu made by the two enterprises.

Luo pointed out the epidemic had not yet abated, and enterprises must maintain a tight grip on curbing the contagion, while trying their best to resume operations.

He urged the authorities in Luohu to continuously improve the local business environment, and their services to enterprises.
