On September 23, Luohu officials began to study the third volume of "Xi Jinping: The Governance of China," which was published this June in both Chinese and English.

Luo Yude, secretary of the CPC Luohu Committee, presided over the opening ceremony of the seminar and delivered an important speech.

Luo stressed that all officials of Luohu district should read the volume thoroughly and improve their knowledge of governance. In particular, officials should deepen their understanding of concepts such as "deepening reforms comprehensively," "pursuing high-quality economic development," "people-centered philosophy of development," and "the Party's self-reform."

He urged all local officials to practice these governance concepts and deliver true benefits to the people.

The recently published volume contains 92 articles, including speeches, conversations, instructions, and letters of Xi, general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, between Oct. 18, 2017, and Jan. 13, 2020.

In the practices of leading and promoting governance in the new era since the 19th CPC National Congress, Xi has made a series of important expositions and put forward many major concepts and ideas, further enriching and developing the Party's theoretical innovations.

The third volume records the practices of the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core in uniting and leading the whole Party and Chinese people of all ethnic groups to make new and major progress in various undertakings of the Party and the country since the 19th CPC National Congress.

It is an authoritative work that fully and systematically reflects Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era.

The first and second volumes of the book were published in 2014 and 2017, respectively.
