The Luohu district government has issued a document, first of this year, on the promotion of Luohu's quality development in the direction of building an all-embracing hub of the Greater Bay Area.

Luohu will try to boost its growth through innovation, continuously optimize its economic structure, and markedly improve the quality of its development and economic growth.

The district will build a modern industrial system consisting of headquarters economy, financial industry, commerce services, strategic emerging industry, commerce, cultural and creative industry and gold and jewelry industry.

The main bases are the Shennan Headquarters Economic Corridor, Hongling Emerging Financial Industrial Belt, Shenzhen-Hong Kong Port Economy Belt, Dawutong Emerging Industrial Belt, according to the government.

Luohu will try to become an efficient logistics hub of the Greater Bay Area, promote the development of the port economy belt consisting Luohu, Wenjindu and Liantang ports, foster integrated development with the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, release more land through urban renewal projects, pay more attention to protecting environment, accelerate the construction of high-speed railways, subways and relevant transform infrastructure, promote the use of digital renminbi and improve people's livelihoods.
