Preparations for the opening of the Universal Beijing Resort are progressing as planned. Based on its rich experience in operating parks worldwide, Universal Beijing Resort management will advance its pre-opening preparations in three stages. The first stage will entail testing and improving operations with the help and feedback of park staff. For the second stage, partners and guests will be invited to partake in trial operation. Finally, the third phase will usher in the grand opening of the park.

The first stage of the preparation works is currently underway, including personnel training, performance rehearsal, and restaurant operations and catering services testing. Together with government departments, third-party professional institutions, and industry experts, the resort has carried out tests on its amusement facilities and ride equipment in batches as planned. More than 10,000 employees have participated in tests so far.

In the past few months, thanks to joint efforts from government departments, partners, and all employees, Universal Beijing Resort has made steady progress in recruitment and training and the development of its catering services, entertainment, and ecology. So far, more than 10,000 employees have completed various professional training, and dozens of restaurants and stores in the resort have conducted services and operation tests. In Universal CityWalk Beijing, 266 kinds of new food and drinks will be available to visitors.

"All of our efforts aim to improve visitor experience," said Tom Mehrmann, general manager at Universal Studios Beijing Park and Resort, adding that the park will usher in a grand opening on the premise of ensuring that everything is in order.
