The 27 awards handed out at the ceremony included one gold, two silvers, three bronzes, 19 awards of excellence, an award for best innovation in design elements, and an award for best craftsmanship.

The winning designs were selected by a jury panel for their creativity, expressions of the designers' unique understanding of traditional Chinese clothing, and their contribution toward promoting Chinese culture in fashion design.

The gold award went to Chang Qing, a postgraduate student from the Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology. She also received the top prize of 100,000 yuan for the design "Strolling in the Mountains and Along Rivers."

The award ceremony was accompanied by various parallel sessions, including the launch ceremony of a training project of using intangible cultural heritage elements in fashion design for promoting the employment of people with disabilities, and the inauguration ceremonies of the China Fashion Trend Research Institute and the World Chinese Clothing Alliance.
