The People's Daily overseas edition published a report introducing Luohu Future School on June 28. The following are excerpts of the report.
Luohu decided to build a school in 2017 to explore new models of education to cultivate innovative talents, and the education in the school is expected to face the future, have international standards as its benchmark, and respond to the requirements of a smart society.
The Luohu Future School opened in 2021. It offers nine years of education, and aims to produce lifetime learners and innovative pioneers. It applies advanced education methods and encourages students to be innovative and critical.
The school was built at the foot of Bijia Hill, and its state-of-the-art structure not only uses numerous cutting-edge technologies and environmentally friendly materials but also stresses a harmonious co-existence between humans and nature.
The school also attaches great significance to cooperating with higher-education institutions, such as Tsinghua University and Beijing Normal University. It will also participate in some joint experiment programs with companies such as Lenovo and Huawei.
