Over the past two years, Luohu has seized the strategic opportunity of Shenzhen's comprehensive reform to ensure a number of "first-of-their-kind" projects have been implemented in the district in the process of comprehensively deepening reforms.

For instance, with its unique consumer market advantages and bold reform spirit, Luohu has taken the lead in digital currency research, mobile payments, and other innovative applications. By expanding the innovative application of the digital renminbi, Luohu has promoted the optimization and upgrading of financial payments and accelerated the development of the digital economy.

With the strong support of Shenzhen Customs, Luohu pioneered the bonded supervision mode of jewelry and jade in the country two years ago, promoting the transformation of the traditional import and export mode of jewelry and jade into the bonded logistics supply chain mode, further reducing the capital occupation and transaction risks of enterprises and promoting the agglomeration development of Shenzhen's jewelry and jade industry.

In order to promote the development of Hong Kong and Macao youth in Shenzhen, Luohu has taken the lead in the city to launch a "gift package" to support Hong Kong and Macao professionals in pursuing entrepreneurship and employment in the district.

In the future, Luohu will continually accelerate the implementation of key goals and work toward producing a more beautiful Luohu for Shenzhen's comprehensive pilot reform, the district government said.
