The National Museum of China and the Palace Museum on Wednesday opened their joint exhibition with collections from both museums, taking visitors on a journey through ancient Chinese cultures over thousands of years.

On display are about 400 sets of cultural relics, including jade, bronze ware, paintings, and calligraphy works. Themed "Harmonious Co-existence," the joint exhibition will run until Jan. 3, 2023.

The exhibition is divided into four sections, exploring the historical origin and development of Chinese culture of harmony, and carrying forward the contemporary value and world significance of Chinese civilization.

According to the National Museum of China, the organizers will deliver cultural products via new media platforms, such as online exhibitions.
