China's R&D spending triples in past decade

In the past decade, China's rapid economic growth has been accompanied by significant advancements in science and technology. The country's total R&D input tripled from 1 trillion yuan in 2012 to 3 trillion yuan (US$431.6 billion) in 2022, an official said Monday.
