Chairman of the CPPCC National Committee, Jiq Qinglin has joined a panel discussion with NPC deputies from Taiwan.

Deputies made proposals on various issues such as pushing forward the cross-Straits peaceful development, promoting Taiwan students' employment after they graduate from the mainland, enhancing the cross-Straits culture exchange, and pushing forward the cross-Straits legislative exchange and cooperation.

Jia Qinglin called on to insist one China policy, to enhance mutual political trust, to continue the cross-Straits economic cooperation, constructing a long term mechanism of mutual benefit and common development. He also called on to strengthen culture and education exchange, and to enhance cultural and ethnic identification.
