Chinese President Xi Jinping held a phone talk Tuesday with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Modi's invitation.

Modi again congratulated Xi on being elected Chinese president, saying it demonstrates that Xi enjoys the support of the whole Chinese nation.
