China's electricity consumption continued to gather pace in November, up 7.6 percent year on year to 413.9 billion kilowatt-hours (kwh), data from the National Energy Administration (NEA) showed Friday.

The rate was higher than October's 6.1-percent rise, marking the second straight month of accelerations, according to the NEA data.
