China's benchmark Shanghai Composite Index on the Shanghai Stock Exchange closed at 2,282.87 points on Friday, up 31.06 points, or 1.38 percent, from the previous close.

A Share Index: 2,389.41 points, up 32.60 points, or 1.38 percent;

B Share Index: 267.56 points, up 1.80 points, or 0.68 percent;

Total Turnover: 111.25 billion yuan (17.94 billion U.S. dollars). Endi
