The Communist Party of China(CPC) and the Lao People's Revolutionary Party(LPRP) held their second seminar on improving party conduct and building a clean government on Tuesday .

The seminar was co-chaired by Liu Qibao, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Bounthong Chitmany, president of the Central Control Committee of the LPRP.

Liu, who also heads the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, said both the CPC and the LPRP are Marxist and face similar tasks in improving party conduct and building a clean government.

Liu briefed Bounthong on the CPC anticorruption experience, such as improving party conduct, effective punishment and prevention, strengthening investigation, and tightening supervision.

He hoped the two sides could make good use of the theory seminar and enhance communication and cooperation, so as to upgrade bilateral ties.

Bounthong said the LPRP will further enhance exchanges with the CPC on improving party conduct and building a clean government, in a bid to push forward bilateral comprehensive strategic and cooperative partnership.

The first theory seminar of the CPC and the LPRP was held in Vientiane, capital of Laos in 2010. Endi
