Another H7N9 death in E China

One new human H7N9 case has been found in east China's Jiangsu Province, the provincial health department confirmed on Tuesday.

The patient, a 59-year-old woman from Wuxi City, was confirmed on Monday night to have been infected. She is in a critical condition.

The patient bought two live chickens from a poultry market and cooked them before she became ill, according to a health department statement.

The new case brings the number of infections in the province this year to 9.
