The disciplinary watchdog of the Communist Party of China (CPC) is rallying the public to help build a clean government and fight corruption.

The CPC's Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI) has invited the public to submit news photographs, non-commercial adverts and cartoons that illustrate corruption, according to a statement on Wednesday.

With the theme of "corruption-free China", the activity will run until the end of the year.

Excellent works will be awarded, the CCDI said.

Wednesday's call was the latest in a string of moves by the commission to invite the public to play a bigger role in the on-going anti-corruption fight.

Measures already taken have included publicizing the CCDI's tip-off procedures, inviting disciplinary officials to conduct online interviews, and upgrading its whistleblowing platform on its website. Endi
