Improved relations between the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) and Japan through dialogue is conducive to peace and stability in Asia, a foreign ministry spokesman said Friday.

Meeting in Stockholm from Monday to Wednesday, the two sides agreed to a full investigation of the abduction of Japanese nationals and a lifting of Japanese sanctions against Pyongyang.

"We have noticed the relevant reports," Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Qin Gang told a daily news briefing.

"Japan and the DPRK have conducted dialogue to solve their concerns and improve their relations. This is good for regional peace and stability," he said. Endi
