A book on the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression has been published to clarify some inaccurate perceptions and historical ambiguities to mark the 70th anniversary of the anti-fascist victory in World War II.

The book, which can be found in bookstores nationwide, was written by scholars organized by a Marxist theory research office of the Communist Party of China (CPC).

The book introduces new concepts, historical evidence and data showing that the CPC was the mainstay in fighting the anti-Japanese war in the 1930s and 1940s.

It also says the war was an important part of the world's anti-fascist war and China was the main battlefield in the East, noting that the Chinese people and Communists made great contributions and sacrifices to the anti-fascist victory.

More than 35 million Chinese were either killed or injured during more than eight years of conflict. Endi
