Flooding leaves 99 dead, 20 missing in China in Jan.-June

Flooding has killed 99 people and left 20 missing this year, the least since 2000, according to the State Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters.

Rainstorms have inundated 41 cities and towns, forcing about 1 million people to relocate. The disasters affected 20.4 million people and destroyed 42,000 homes.
