China stocks open higher Monday after central bank's easing move

Chinese stocks opened higher on Monday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 2.31 percent, to open at 4,289.77, after the central bank on Saturday cut both the requirement reserve ratio (RRR), the amount of reserves banks required to hold, and benchmark interest rates.

The Shenzhen Component Index opened 2.12 percent higher at 14,703.97.

The ChiNext Index, tracking China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, opened 0.78 percent higher at 2,943.50 points. Endi
