Japan grants Morocco 3.16 mln USD to improve airports security

Japan on Monday granted Morocco advanced airport security equipments worth 3.16 million U.S. dollars in order to improve its airport security.

The grant's project, which lasts for a period of 21 months, aims at developing Morocco's Mohammed V International Airport surveillance system.

It will also provide security and surveillance equipments in order to ameliorate the capabilities of Morocco in terms of airports security.

"Via this project, Japan contributes to the reinforcement of airports surveillance system in Morocco," Japan's extraordinary ambassador to Morocco, Tsuneo Kurokaxa, said at the signing ceremony.

He stressed the importance of stability and peace in achieving economic development and improving the daily life of Moroccan citizens. Enditem
