New world cyber games to kick off in NW China city

World Cyber Arena (WCA) 2015, a new event for world cyber gamers, will be held in Yinchuan, capital city of northwestern China's Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region on Dec. 17, the organizing committee said Tuesday.

   The four-day games that attracts over 10,000 gamers from 32 countries and regions features 11 events, including DOTA 2, Crossfire and Warcraft III.

   The WCA 2015 will provide a total of 16 million RMB (2.51 million U.S. dollars) as prize money for the final, the organizer said.

   The WCA, jointly held by Yinchuan municipal government and Yinchuan International Game Investment Co. Ltd, shares the same competition system with the World Cyber Games (WCG), which used to be the largest global electronic sport tournament.  Endi
