The Shanxi Flame have acquired the service of WNBA star Maya Moore for the second half of the 2015 WCBA (women's Chinese Basketball Association) season, the Chinese club confirmed on Sunday.

Moore helped Minnesota Lynx defeat Indiana Fever in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) finals in October, winning her third WNBA title in five years.

"After the finals of WNBA, Moore had her knee injury treated. She will be back to join the squad next month, but the specific date is not set yet," an official of Shanxi Flame told Xinhua.

Moore, dubbed as the "Invincible Queen" by Chinese fans, played a pivotal role in Shanxi's successful 3-time defense of the WCBA league since 2012.

As the WCBA only allows each team to have one foreign player, Moore will replace Penny Taylor from Australia.  Endi
