Chinese Premier Li Keqiang met with Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in Zhengzhou, capital of central China's Henan Province, on Tuesday.

Li said China and Pakistan are all-weather strategic partners and the two countries have high-level political mutual trust, all-round cooperation and firm support for each other on issues concerning core interests.

"China is willing to work with Pakistan to further bilateral ties," Li said.

Li called on both sides to promote the China-Pakistan economic corridor, prioritizing the implementation of the Gwadar port project and cooperation in energy, transportation infrastructure and industry.

Sharif said Pakistan is committed to developing relations with China. Pakistan will actively promote the building of the economic corridor, implement cooperation projects on time and ensure the safety of Chinese personnel in project construction, Sharif said.

Sharif attended the 14th Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) prime ministers' meeting as an SCO observer on Tuesday morning. He said Pakistan attaches great importance to the practical cooperation within the SCO. Endi
