Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc will pay an official visit to China from September 10 to 15 at the invitation of Chinese Premier Li Keqiang, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying said on Monday.

Phuc will also attend the 13th China-ASEAN Expo, Hua said.

The expo will be held from September 11 to 14 in the southern city of Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.

During his visit, Chinese leaders will meet Phuc and hold talks with him, exchanging views on bilateral ties and issues of common concern, Hua said.

At present China-Vietnam relations are sound, Hua said.

Phuc was re-elected as prime minister in July this year.

We hope Phuc's visit will enhance bilateral strategic communication, strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation and bring real benefits to the people of two countries, Hua said. Endi
