BEIJING, June 26 (Xinhua) -- The 2nd non-governmental forum of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia(CICA) will be held in Beijing from June 28 to 29, a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson announced on Monday.

CICA non-governmental forum had its first annual session in 2015 in Beijing.

According to spokesperson Geng Shuang, nearly 300 delegations from CICA member countries, observers, think tanks, social groups and media will attend the forum, to discuss common, comprehensive, cooperative and sustainable security in Asia, as well as the Belt and Road construction.

Besides a plenary session, there will be 8 round table meetings covering topics like cyberspace security, anti-terror cooperation, climate change and the implementation of United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, Geng said.

China now holds the CICA presidency. Enditem
