HONG KONG, Jan. 19 (Xinhua) -- Hong Kong stocks closed 0.41 percent higher to 32,254.89 points on Friday, refreshing the record high for the third consecutive day.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index traded between 31,986.0 and 32,254.89, and closed at the highest level of the day, up 132.95 points compared with the previous trading day's close.
The index hit a record high at 31,983.41 points on Wednesday, and refreshed the record on Thursday to close at 32,121.94 points.
The turnover on Friday totaled 162.6 billion Hong Kong dollars (about 20.80 billion U.S. dollars). Enditem
