ISA World Longboard Surfing Championship opens in South China

HAIKOU, Jan. 19 (Xinhua) -- The 2018 ISA World Longboard Surfing Championship opens at RiYue Wan (or Sun and Moon Bay) in Wanning city, South China's Hainan Province on Friday.

As a top-level event of surfing, this year's championship has attracted some 200 contestants from about 30 countries and regions all over the world, including HuangWei, Zhang Wei, LiuJing and GuoShujuan of China's national surfing team.

This year's event will last 7 days from Jan. 19 to 25, said the organizers. And a forum will be held during this period on topics such as surfing training, surfing gears and development of local surfing brands. Enditem
