JERUSALEM -- U.S. National Security Adviser John Bolton on Sunday told Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that preventing Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons is "a top priority for the United States."

Speaking at the start of their meeting in Jerusalem, Bolton said that Iran's military capabilities are "a question of the highest importance for the United States." (Israel-US-Nuke)

ANKARA -- Monday morning's shooting at the U.S. embassy in Ankara was "a clear attempt to create chaos," said Turkish presidential spokesman Ibrahim Kalin, amid an escalating row between the two NATO allies.

RAMALLAH -- Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas' Fatah party slammed on Monday the Islamic Hamas movement over advancing a brokered truce with Israel.

ANKARA -- The Turkish authorities said on Monday that the police has arrested two male suspects involved in an earlier shooting at the U.S. embassy in Ankara.
