XI'AN, Nov. 21 (Xinhua) -- Beijing defeated Qingdao 107-92 on Wednesday, grabbing its eighth straight victory in Chinese Basketball Association league (CBA).

Beijing made a 10-4 spurt during the second quarter to take an upper hand in the first half. Jonathan Gibson of team Qingdao was unaccustomed to face double teams, when the third quarter finished, Beijing had enlarged its advantages to 28 points.

Although Qingdao got 24 points in the first six minutes of the last quarter, Zhu Yanxi stopped his opponent with a crucial three-pointer. At last, Beijing locked the score to 107-92.

Zhai Xiaochuan was the hero of team Beijing tonight. The 25-year-old earned 24 points, while Aaron Jackson had 27 points. Gibson contributed 35 points and six rebounds to Qingdao.

Jilin's two-game winning streak was stopped by Longlions 129-109. Kyle Fogg and Marreese Speights of Longlions combined for 81 points and 11 rebounds, helping their team grab the second straight win.
