CAIRO -- The Egyptian government has no intention to reduce bread subsidy no matter what, Finance Minister Mohamed Maait told state-run Ahram newspaper on Saturday.

SANAA -- The Houthi rebels in Yemen on Saturday pledged to attend the upcoming peace talks in Sweden, a Houthi chief said.

SHARM EL SHEIKH, Egypt -- The International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) on Sunday listed 15 new natural sites in eight countries to its green list of protected and conserved areas.

DAMASCUS -- At least 44 civilians suffered suffocation as a result of a rebel attack with "poisonous gas" in Syria's northern city of Aleppo on Saturday, state TV reported.
