ANKARA -- Several shots were fired overnight near the Austrian embassy in Turkish capital Ankara, state-run Anadolu Agency reported on Sunday.

Shots were fired into to the air from a white car after which security forces rushed to the location and briefly closed roads near the diplomatic complex. (Turkey-Austria-Embassy)

SANAA -- At least four people were killed on Sunday when a Saudi-led coalition airstrike hit a fuel station in Yemen's northwestern province of Hajjah, a medic and residents said.

Five others were wounded in the air attack which struck the station at the entrance of a popular market of Mastaba district earlier the morning. (Yemen-Airstrike)

TEHRAN -- At least 210 people were injured in the magnitude-6.4 earthquake that hit Sar Pol Zahab city in Kermanshah Province in western Iran on Sunday, the governor of Kermanshah said.

There has been no death reported in the quake so far, Hooshang Bazvand said, adding that the power lines have been connected in the quake-stricken areas. (Iran-Earthquake-Injury)

DAMASCUS -- The Syrian Foreign Ministry on Sunday demanded the UN Security Council condemnation of the rebels' chemical attack in Syria's northern city of Aleppo, state news agency SANA reported.

The ministry made the demand in a statement to the UN Security Council in the wake of the attack on Saturday, in which rebels fired dozens of projectiles with chlorine gas in the al-Khalidiyeh and Zahraa neighborhoods as well as the Nile Street in the western part of Aleppo.
