1st LD-Writethru: Chinese shares close higher Wednesday

BEIJING, Nov. 28 (Xinhua) -- Chinese stocks closed higher on Wednesday led by shares related with telecommunications, securities brokerage and intellectual property rights.

  The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index went up 1.05 percent to close at 2,601.73. The Shenzhen Component Index closed 1.60 percent higher at 7,757.07.

  Combined turnover on the two bourses rose to 292.26 billion yuan (42.36 billion U.S. dollars) from 251 billion yuan the previous trading day.

  Stocks in the broadcasting and television sector rallied. Shenzhen Topway Video Communication Co. Ltd. gained by the daily limit of 10 percent. Jiangsu Broadcasting Cable Information Network Corporation Ltd. also rose by 10 percent, to 4.84 yuan.

  Shares related with Hainan province soared on news that the Ministry of Finance loosened restrictions on annual individual purchase at the offshore duty-free shop in Hainan.

  Hainan Strait Shipping Co. Ltd. gained by the daily limit of 10 percent, to 14.38 yuan. Hainan Dadonghai Tourism Center (Holding) Co. Ltd. soared 8.53 percent to 8.14 yuan.

  The ChiNext Index, China's NASDAQ-style board, gained 1.95 percent to close at 1,341.08. Enditem
