Algerian, South African FMs discuss bilateral cooperation

ALGIERS, Jan. 14 (Xinhua) -- Algerian Foreign Minister Abdelkader Messahel and his South African counterpart Lindiwe Sisulu on Monday had a session of talks that took up bilateral cooperation and a host of regional and international topics.

The two sides dealt with the ministerial meeting of the African Union and the European Union scheduled for January 21-22 in Brussels and the 32nd summit of the AU in Addis Ababa on February 10-11.

Sisulu, who is on a two-day visit to Algiers, had said in statements upon arrival on Sunday that the Algerians "are our closest friends." Enditem
