JERUSALEM -- AliExpress, Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba's online global retail platform, topped Israel's cross-border shopping websites in 2018, said a report by Israel Postal Company on Tuesday.

According to the data, about 65 million packages of cross-border e-commerce were delivered in Israel in 2018, of which around 50 percent were orders from AliExpress. (Israel-China-E-commerce)

ANKARA -- Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Tuesday that his country will set up a 32-km safe zone in northern Syria, following a consensus with U.S. President Donald Trump.

ADEN, Yemen -- Yemen's security forces on Tuesday launched an anti-terror operation against the al-Qaida militants in the southern province of Abyan, killing seven militants, a government official told Xinhua.

BAGHDAD -- Iraqi Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi on Tuesday denied the media reports that the United States has asked Iraq to dissolve Shiite paramilitary Hashd Shaabi brigades.
