ALGIERS, Jan. 23 (Xinhua) -- Two "terrorists" surrendered to the Algerian army in the province of Tamanrasset, about 1,900 km south of the capital Algiers, the defense ministry said Wednesday.
The two "terrorists," identified as Shaminmas Mahma and Moussa Husseini, joined terrorist groups in 2009 and 2015 respectively, the ministry said in a statement.
They also turned in an RPG-7 launcher, a heavy machine-gun of 14.5-mm caliber, a Kalashnikov rifle, three loaded magazines and 13,160 bullets, the statement added. Enditem
