TEHRAN -- At least two people were killed in a training plane crash in Iran's northeastern city of Kashmar, in Khorasan Razavi Province, on Friday, Iran's Fouri news reported.

The ultralight aircraft was used for training purposes. One trainer and a trainee were killed in the accident. (Iran-Plane Crash)

RABAT -- The Moroccan authorities busted Friday a terror cell made of five people, including a former detainee under the anti-terrorism law, in the central city of Safi, Moroccan interior ministry announced.

GAZA -- At least 20 Palestinians were injured on Friday during clashes between hundreds of Palestinian demonstrators and Israeli soldiers in eastern Gaza Strip, close to the border with Israel, medics said.

At least 20 Palestinians, who were peacefully demonstrating in eastern Gaza Strip, were shot and wounded by Israeli soldiers' gunfire, said Ashraf al-Qedra, spokesman of the Health Ministry in Gaza, adding that two were seriously wounded. (Gaza-Israel)

ANKARA -- Only Turkish forces should be present in the planned safe zone in northeast Syria, Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar said on Friday, mentioning the idea to set up a safe zone after U.S. troops pull out of Syria.
