CAIRO -- Egypt's anti-terrorism forces killed eight terrorists in North Sinai province, the armed forces said in statement on Wednesday.

"The forces raided seven terrorist hideouts, killing eight extremely dangerous terrorists, and destroyed two booby-trapped vehicles that were prepared for targeting the forces," said the spokesperson of the army, Tamer al-Refai. (Egypt-Sinai-Terrorists-Raid)

ANKARA -- At least 5 soldiers were injured on Wednesday in an ammunition explosion in the suburban district of the capital Ankara, state-run Anadolu Agency reported.

BAGHDAD -- Iraqi security forces Wednesday killed five suicide bomber from the Islamic State (IS) group in Iraq's northern province of Nineveh, the Iraqi military said.

A joint force from Iraqi army and paramilitary Hashd Shaabi ambushed five suicide bombers wearing explosive vests and surrounded them in their vehicle in Badoush area in northwest of Mosul, Yahya Rasoul, spokesman of the Iraqi Joint Operations Command, said in a statement. (Iraq-Suicide Bomber)
