BEIJING, March 3 (Xinhua) -- Following are the schedules for the second session of the 13th National People's Congress (NPC) and the second session of the 13th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) on Monday, March 4.

NPC:

-- A preparatory meeting for the second session of the 13th NPC will be held in the morning to elect a presidium and a secretary-general, and set the agenda of the session. The presidium will then hold its first meeting.

-- At 11:15 a.m., a press conference will be held on the agenda of the session and the work of the NPC.

CPPCC National Committee:

-- The CPPCC National Committee will hold panel discussions on a work report of its Standing Committee and on a report on the handling of proposals submitted by members. Enditem
