JERUSALEM -- Israel's Justice Ministry said on Monday that the decision on whether to charge Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu with corruption won't be made until after the general elections in April.

Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit has agreed to hold Netanyahu's pre-indictment hearing until after the April 9 general elections but before July 10, according to a ministry statement. (Israel-Netanyahu-Corruption)

ALGIERS -- Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika on Monday announced his decision not to seek candidacy for the upcoming presidential election, official APS news agency reported.

DAMASCUS -- At least 50 people were killed on Monday by U.S.-led airstrikes on the last Islamic State (IS) stronghold in eastern Syria, state news agency SANA reported.

BAGHDAD -- Iraqi President Barham Salih Monday said that common security in Iraq and Iran and other countries in the Middle East region needs further cooperation.
