ZHENGZHOU, April 9 (Xinhua)-- Cotton futures opened flat Tuesday in early trading on the Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange (ZCE).

The most active Cotton contract for September delivery opened at 15,735 yuan (2,343.54 U.S. dollars) per tonne.

As the world's largest producer, consumer and exporter of textile, China listed cotton futures on ZEC in June 2004, helping cotton-related enterprises hedge the price risk. Enditem
