SHANGHAI, April 15 (Xinhua) -- Crude oil futures closed lower Monday at the Shanghai International Energy Exchange (INE).
The most active crude oil contract for May delivery was down 4.7 yuan (about 70 U.S. cents) to close at 471.8 yuan a barrel.
On Monday, the total trading volume for 6 listed crude oil futures contracts on the exchange was 277,844 lots, with a turnover of 131.65 billion yuan.
China launched the crude oil futures trading, which is open to overseas investment, on March 26 last year. Enditem
