RAMALLAH -- Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyadh al-Malki announced on Sunday the launch of a Palestinian diplomatic campaign to confront the U.S. Middle East peace plan, known as the "Deal of the Century."

Al-Malki said to the official voice of Palestine that the campaign would begin by sending massage by the Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas to the world leaders, to get their support for the Palestinian position in the face of the century deal. (Palestine-U.S.)

ANKARA -- Turkey's main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) leader Kemal Kilicdaroglu was attacked on Sunday by a group in the capital Ankara.

BAGHDAD -- Iraqi security forces on Sunday killed seven leaders of the Islamic State (IS) militant group in the eastern province of Diyala, a security source said.

A joint force of the Iraqi intelligence service and Counter-Terrorism Service conducted airdrop operations on IS hideouts in Himreen mountain range, some 65 km east of the provincial capital Baquba, Sadiq al-Husseini, head of the security committee in Diyala's provincial council, told Xinhua. KHARTOUM -- Sudan's major opposition alliance announced on Sunday suspension of negotiation with the Transitional Military Council.

"We have decided to suspend the negotiation with the Transitional Military Council," Sudan's opposition Freedom and Change Alliance said in a statement during a press conference at the site of the protesters' sit-in before the army's general headquarter. (Sudan-Military Council) Enditem
