DUBAI, April 23 (Xinhua) -- The United Arab Emirates (UAE) launched the first-ever "ministry of possibilities" which will have no minister, according to the state-run WAM news agency on Tuesday.
The ministry, to handle significant national issues including building new government systems in preparation for the future, was launched by Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE Sheikh Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
The ministry is an unconventional one, and it will be entrusted with vital national issues and building new government systems for the future, according to the PM's Twitter page.
He said that the ministry will start its work on several projects, including provision of proactive services to the public and development of an online platform to facilitate government purchases and shorten the time "from 60 days to six minutes."
"The ministry will also be tasked with devising specialized systems to explore talents in the UAE," he said. Enditem
