BEIJING, April 26 (Xinhua) -- The following is a list of shows, concerts, exhibitions and other events in China on Friday:

-- "The Journey Back Home," an exhibition of Chinese artifacts returned by Italy

Date: April 24 to June 30

Location: National Museum of China, Beijing

The exhibition showcases more than 700 pieces of returned Chinese artifacts, including a painted pottery pot from the Western Han Dynasty (202 B.C.-8 A.D.), a colored camel pottery figurine from the Tang Dynasty (618-907) and a white-glazed bowl from the Song Dynasty (960-1279).

The artifacts are the largest return of lost Chinese cultural relics in nearly 20 years.

-- The Legend of Kung Fu

Time: 5:15 p.m. / 7:30 p.m.

Location: Hong Theater (Hongjuchang), Beijing

The performance tells the story of a young monk growing from innocence to an experienced and wise man by practicing martial arts and studying Zen.

This show, different from other Kung Fu shows, successfully combines storytelling with Kung Fu.

-- The Yellow Storm

Time: 7:30 p.m.

Location: National Theater of China, Beijing

Adapted from the masterpiece of late Chinese novelist Lao She, drama The "Yellow Storm"(or "Four Generations under One Roof" directly translated from the Chinese title) depicts the life of ordinary Beijing residents after Japan launched a full-scale invasion of China on July 7, 1937.

Directed by scriptwriter and director Tian Qinlei, the drama has been staged 182 times in 38 Chinese cities and has been well received by audiences.

-- Top Restaurant

Time: 7:30 p.m.

Location: National Center for the Performing Arts

Presented by one of China's national theater company, the Beijing People's Art Theater, the drama tells the story of the brand building of a time-honored restaurant "Fujude" in Beijing. The roast duck brand has a good reputation, but it once faced bankruptcy after the old and sick shopkeeper retired. Its new manager Lu Mengshi successfully revitalized it by devoting himself to the business.

The drama is staged in commemoration of the founding of the People's Republic of China. Enditem
