The Wizard of Oz Musical

Place: Guangzhou Opera House
Introduction:
Based on the 1939 namesake film, "The Wizard of Oz" has been captivating audiences of all ages since its opening in 2011 when the familiar movie characters were put on stage to tell a time-tested fantasy through music. This month, the original Broadway version arrives in Guangzhou. Come meet Dorothy, Tin Man, the Cowardly Lion and the other wonderful figures somewhere over the rainbow.
Bach's Six Brandenburg Concertos
Date: May 17

Place: Xinghai Concert Hall
Introduction:
Led by Danish harpsichordist Lars Ulrik Mortensen, Concerto Copenhagen will perform Bach's complete Brandenburg Concertos in Guangzhou. This masterpiece is regarded as the pinnacle of Baroque concertos and is among the most universally admired of all Bach's works.
The Little Singers of Paris Concert

Introduction:
The Little Singers of Paris is regarded as one of the best boys choirs in the world along with the Vienna Boy's Choir and Toelzer Knabenchor. Formed in 1907, the choir has toured over 80 countries and was named affectionately the "Messenger of peace" by the Pope. Enditem
