ZHAOQING, Guangdong, May 20 (Xinhua) -- "I am an all-around gymnast now!" announced 43-year-old women's vault legend Oksana Chusovitina here on Monday.

Her goal was to win the individual qualification quota of Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games through the 2019 Stuttgart World Championship.

Under the qualification system of Tokyo 2020, the team events in artistic gymnastics will be reduced from five members to four, but a maximum of two places will be available for competitors in individual events. Gymnasts whose countries did not qualify full teams can qualify individually by placing twentieth in the all-around or by medaling in the event finals of 2019 World Championship.

Chusovitina narrowly missed gold medal of women's vault at 0.300 point during 2019 Zhaoqing FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Challenge Cup, where Chinese teenager Yu Linmin won her first senior world title at 14.625 points on difficulty advantage.

Painting her nails in bright red and green, Chusovitina confidently stated that she was "so beautiful" on the field, where most of her opponents were young girls who were at her son's age.

"I like gymnastics. I have practice. I have fun!" said the Uzbekistanian veteran. Enditem
